Connect Google Ads to Perplexity
Perplexity can read your Google Ads account once you add Adlyko as a custom remote connector. You enter one server URL, choose OAuth and sign in with the same Google account you signed up with. From then on your own numbers sit in the same window as the research Perplexity does on the web, and that's exactly the combination this connection is meant for.
- Where you set it up
- Account settings, under connectors, with the button for a custom connector
- Connector type
- Remote, because Adlyko doesn't run on your own computer
- Plan
- The paid plans, including the business version
- Authentication
- OAuth 2.0, no key to paste
Add Adlyko in five steps
- 1
Sign up for Adlyko
Sign in with the Google account you use to manage your Google Ads. After that Perplexity doesn't need to know any key or token.
- 2
Open your settings in Perplexity
Go to your account settings and open the full settings screen. That's where the overview of your connectors is.
- 3
Add a custom connector and choose Remote
The button to create a custom connector is at the top right. Choose Remote, because Adlyko doesn't run on your own computer but on a server you reach over the internet.
- 4
Fill in the name, URL and authentication
Call it Adlyko and put this URL in the MCP server field. Choose OAuth 2.0 as the authentication. You don't need to change anything under the advanced settings.

Confirm and sign in with Google
Perplexity asks you to confirm that you understand a custom connector carries risks. Check that box and add the connector. Then comes the Google sign-in, where you pick the same account you signed up with.
Where this connection makes the difference
Perplexity is built to look things up and back them with sources. Adlyko adds the one source that isn't on the web: your own account. Questions that need both belong here.
Look in my Google Ads at which search terms cost money without a conversion over the last thirty days. Then look up which of those terms in my industry come up more often as searches from consumers than from businesses.
Pull my five most expensive keywords and compare my ad text with what competitors put on their sites for the same keywords.
If you only need account work without research around it, you're often done faster in a chat assistant or in an editor. Adlyko works in both with the same server URL.
What to know about Perplexity
- A connector can be personal or shared with your organization. Choose deliberately: a shared connector appears in your colleagues' list, even though everyone signs in with their own Google account.
- When you add it, Perplexity warns that a custom connector carries risks. That's a general warning that comes with every remote server, and with Adlyko you can see in your Google account exactly what access you're giving and revoke it at any time.

If it doesn't work
- I don't see the button for a custom connector
- Custom remote connectors are on Perplexity's paid plans, not on a free account. If you're in an organization, an admin also decides whether members can add connectors themselves. In that case the admin can set up Adlyko once for the whole organization.
- Perplexity doesn't accept my URL
- A remote MCP server has to be reachable over HTTPS. Adlyko's URL meets that, so if it's refused there's usually a space or a missing part copied along with it. Use the copy button above instead of typing the URL over.
- The connector is there, but my answer has no account numbers
- Make sure the connector is on for this thread and ask explicitly about your own account, for example by starting with Look in my Google Ads. Without that hint Perplexity prefers to search the web, because that's what it's built for.
- Can someone else reach my account data through this connector?
- No. The connector is tied to your Google sign-in. If you share it within an organization, every member signs in with their own Google account and only sees the Google Ads accounts Google has given that person rights to.
You need an Adlyko account first
The server URL only works once you've signed up with the Google account you use to manage your Google Ads. It costs nothing and you connect your first account right away. What the paid layer costs is on the pricing page.
Same URL, a different agent
The server URL doesn't change when you switch agents. Only the place where you enter it is different. What connecting involves is explained on the overview page about connecting Adlyko.
